Project Abstract

This project is a self-reflective exploration of the impact of objectification and materialism on interpersonal relationships, with the aim of discerning a means to convey these relationships through publication. It goes beyond critiquing personal behavior; its mission is to assist the audience in reevaluating their own relationships. The project is designed to cultivate and emphasize the essential qualities within authentic relationships, establishing a meaningful connection with the audience through the candid sharing of my intimate and vulnerable memories within this publication.

Reflection

Approaching my final semester, it is a time when we showcase our accumulated knowledge from the years of study. Moreover, it serves as a moment for personal growth and self-realization. The creation of this project has allowed me to fully embrace my authentic self, embodying a critical perspective on societal norms and embracing the abstract, the stark, and the expressive. The journey through the master’s program in design has been challenging, requiring me to overcome personal weaknesses and shoulder extra responsibilities at times. However, this entire process has illuminated my own capabilities. I am grateful to have completed it and am pleased with the progress I’ve made.
