Reflection

With the rapid development of society, globalisation and modernisation have had a great impact on traditional Chinese culture. Especially the younger generation is more susceptible to the influence of Western culture, which leads to the marginalisation of Chinese traditional culture. And such valuable cultural heritage as Sanxingdui culture has not been well inherited and promoted. Sanxingdui culture occupies an important historical position in ancient Chinese civilisation. Through this study, experimental typography in communication design was used to explore the semiotics of ancient Chinese culture in an attempt to find a balance that would make symbols from traditional culture more stylish and modern.
