棱中目

Project Abstract

An infinitely upward-scrolling xi character (喜) symbolizes the persistence of intergenerational trauma. The embedded eyes in the video move at varying rhythms: the top eye moves slowly, representing the grandparental generation; the middle eye moves frequently, reflecting the dual responsibilities of the parental generation; and the bottom eye quivers rapidly, symbolizing the psychological tension experienced by the younger generation. This visual narrative utilizes text, graphics, and typography to convey the impact of psychological control and intergenerational trauma within Chinese families.
