Communication Design strategies  based on  Religious ideas and rituals


How might Communication Design strategies and practices help atheists in a secular society draw value from religious ideas and rituals?


Project Abstract


This research is primarily practice-based research through the discipline of communication design, but draws on ideas from other fields (psychology, religion, philosophy etc).

In contemporary times, because of the progression of societal secularization, many scholars adopt a pessimistic attitude regarding the existential significance of religion. However, religion continues to hold significant relevance and provides valuable insights in contemporary society. Religion provides a structured framework for comprehending the world, imbuing individuals with a sense of purpose, beliefs, objectives, and interpretations. These elements help people handle life's complexities and personal challenges effectively.
