Custom typeface design created during Experimental Typography Workshop - initial inspiration stemmed from the bauhaus movement - specifically attention was paid to the Sommerfeld House stained glass windows by Bauhaus architecture & artist and designer Josef Albers. While working through the conceptualisation of a custom typeface, the primary inspiration began to dissipate. as the typeface developed, so did its own identity. therefore, the typeface, variegate, is and of itself a source of inspiration for further developing abstract ideas and thoughts.
